My (Extensive) Family

Well, well, well. I knew that I would eventually have to get this page over and done with. To begin with, my family is very large in a non-traditional way. My parents divorced when I was younger, and both have remarried within the last five or so years. I have one biological brother, as well as two step-brothers and six step-sisters. Now, just to make things more complicated, the oldest and the youngest step-sisters on my step-mom's side have the same names as the oldest and the youngest step-sisters on my step-dad's side. Also, my step-mom's name is the same as my step-dad's ex-wife. Now, here is the really scary part - the hair color on all of the like-named people is the same. For example, the Missys have dark brown hair, and the Alicias and Sandys have blond hair. How's that for freaky?

I currently live at college, but during the summer months I stay with my mother, step-dad, and brother. He is a senior in high school right now, so he's stuck at home at least until the end of the year. All of my step-siblings are older than I, as well as being married (them, not me). I have about eight or nine step-neices and nephews, with at least one more on the way (I am not kept very well informed of these things, so I apologize if I get this wrong).

All in all, I get lost at family reunions, and am lucky to remember about a third of the names, like I was ever any good at that anyways. This is more of an encouragement to those of you out there who think you have psycho families - just try having twice as many people in your family who are insane.
